About the Venus
I am a graduate of Sierra College, and the Academy of Arts San Francisco, with a BFA in illustration.. While attending Sierra College I recieved my AS in Applied Art and Design with a minor in Large Animal Sciences. I also am a BJCP recognized Beer Judge and lady podcaster.
In 2011 I worked for the Model T Plex Museum in Detroit, also known as the Piquette Plant building museum exhibits and reclaiming the interior offices to bring them back to their former glory. That was my inspiration for finishing my degree, and I started at AAU at an age when most of my classmates would have already been graduated! But you must follow you dreams. While working through school I had the honor of working for major retail chain who shall not be named but throws a heck of a parade, which taught me customer service. I also have been a Laser Cutting Tech, aroma therapist, receptionist, graphic designer, goat herder, acupuncture receptionist, personal assistant, convention aide (may I see your badge? Wrist bands, wristbands) and run booths selling both my goods but also those of others.
You can catch me at shows all across California, or on my couch with my ancient fossil of a cat Mr. Pickles, and my lovely husband Steve. We live on the side of a mountain in Eden Utah. I enjoy watercolor painting, podcasting with my husband on Everything I Learned from Movies, travel, my pets, wild things and eating. Food is great isn't it?.
